Most Likely Marlin is your best friend from a teen movie. She looks like an elf princess, is cute on retro rollerskates, and has her room adorned with Messi posters. Her music is a planetary system of sparkling, guitar-driven indie that makes the heart pound. She loves Phoebe Bridgers, resembles Clairo more in memory, but sounds mostly like herself.

At 19, she officially changed her name to Malin Isabel DISCO Guleng, something her mother thought was embarrassing unless she becomes a rock star. In May, the 23-year-old became the talk of the town after just one debut concert at the Oslo Indie Festival, and on Saturday, August 12th, Most Likely Marlin was ready for her moment, playing at Øyafestivalen, without even having released any music!

The upcoming spring, Most Likely Marlin will release her debut EP.
